Traditionally, packable backpacks are unstructured and uncomfortable. Having an inflatable back panel not only gives structure to the VEER, but makes it incredibly comfortable as well.

This is a really nice backpack to wear and fits a laptop in the mesh pocket in a pinch (limited padding there, but if it has to come along…
It does well in light rain but not a downpour. And it is very easy to clean with water and hand soap (yes I got chocolate on it already somehow).

Very good packable daypack
Although I am an amateur photographer, I really needed a compressible daypack I can travel with for carryon only short travel in Europe. The only con so far is that it does not pack as small as some other bags, however there are a lot of pros to this bag. These include that it feels most like a normal daypack than anything I’ve tried, has a great water bottle storage, even bottles over 20 oz (or for your tripod as designed), has 3 compartments (which is about the best I’ve seen for a collapsible pack), is seemingly waterproof/water resistant (haven’t tested this yet), and the inflatable support makes carrying loads in the main pack normal/comfortable. Also, i have tried, but not carried my 13 MacBook Pro, in a Thule case, in the mesh where the camera cube is meant to go, and it seems like it would work great. Overall a great bag so far.
