Rainfly

Fits well in the allocated pocket of my new pack. Out on Westcoast liquid sunshine is a main stay so I am happy to know i have an extra layer of protection when carrying my camera gear / electronics . Easy to put on .

I purchased the large rainfly for my 41L Wandred Prevke.

I bought the large to easily fit over my vintage Gitzo Reporter tripod (with Swiss Monoball attached if need be).

I also wanted room if I wanted to attach other items externally on my bag.

Rainfly looks super well designed, thought out with great features and looks bombproof. There is a zippered pocket on the bottom of the Prevke specifically made for the rainfly and seems to be room for more if comparable with not damaging the rainfly. I know the Wandred bags and zippers are very water and rain resistant but I need complete protection if in a monsoon to keep camera, lenses and computer 100% dry and protected. This will do it. Nicely overlaps the clamshell zipper with great strap, design and attachments. Wandred is not inexpensive but I think it's the best and a good value for the fantastic quality and peace of mind.

It's a shame they don't come with the bag, because they are a great and crucial piece of gear. The long strap that wraps around the whole bag to make sure its clipped in can dangle and tangle at times but its great at making sure the fly stays on. Especially if its on the back of a motorcycle. After 1 year in SE Asia mine got some minor holes so I decided to replace it.

If you are using the straps on the bottom of the bag to hold a small tripod then you have to move the fly from the pocket on the bottom of the bag since it becomes inaccessible quickly.
