ROGUE 6L Sling V1

I am not using this as a photography bag.

I spent a good amount of time looking for an adequate sized bag that would fit my field recording kit. Price was also a deciding factor, and for my kit it seemed like I was limited to either really cheap camera bags, or professional field recording bags that would cost several hundred dollars. I don't remember how I stumbled upon Wandrd bags, but the more I read about them, and considered all the storage features, I came to the conclusion that the ROUGUE 9L checked all the boxes for this otherwise unconventional purpose (for photography bags).

Some of the things I needed this bag to accomplish were: Durability, wear design (a sling design that I could carry on my back or my waist as needed was important), the top access compartment design where I could easily get to my recorder for controls while I held the mic, exterior hooking systems for storing things like a tripod or a small mic boom pole, enough extra storage for a pistol grip and wind 'fuzzy' (which are stored under the recorder being cradled by the velcro dividers), mic cables, memory cards, and it's ability to be a field recording go-bag that I could leave setup and grab whenever I needed it. But the thing that pushed this decision way beyond the tipping point was the option to carry a laptop with the optional case (which I also go); very cool and smart design thinking here.

All in all, I'm very happy with the product, and I see myself having it for a long time.
