Comfortable and easy to attach and remove
Sometimes you need a belt to carry the weight and keep a bag secure and sometimes it just gets in the way. Having the ability to quickly add or remove the belt is a GREAT feature. you can stow it away inside the bag or strap it to the outside (maybe with one of the premium Sedona Orange straps?). The waist pouches are also nice to keep "smalls" handy if needed.
Okay, and the BIG message is that it is a comfortable belt. no point in wearing a belt that is only an instrument of torture. I realize that the belt may vary in comfort depending on the size of the bag used and the torso length of the user...but for me it was a great match. I am 5 foot five and am carrying the 41L PRVKE...so use that for comparison.

Waist belt
The side pockets could be bigger. The buckle/straps are almost tightened to the max with me. I'm 5'6 and 130 pds. Just fyi. Probably not your average stats. Thank you.

Back Saver
The waist belt has been a life saver for my back while traveling. While I love the bag, it does get heavy at times when carrying both camera and laptop. The waist belt attaches to the bag nicely and allows the bags weight to sit on my hips more than my shoulders. It’s helped immensely when on travel and walking around the airport or over to my office for work.
